College Career – UAlbany

Currently a junior at UAlbany, Coach Dylan has carved out a reputation as one of the conference’s toughest competitors. Entering the 2025 season, he was recognized as an American East Preseason All-Conference selection, a testament to his growth, consistency, and impact on the mound.

In 2024,Coach Dylan emerged as a reliable starter for the Great Danes, posting a 4.85 ERA across 52 innings pitched. He struck out 40 hitters while holding opponents to a remarkable .209 batting average against. His season was highlighted by a dominant performance against Maine on May 16, where he went eight innings, striking out 10 batters while allowing just one earned run — one of the strongest outings by a UAlbany pitcher that season.

The 2023 season saw Coach Dylan log 13 pitching appearances, including six starts, while leading the team in saves. He struck out 38 batters across 37.1 innings of work, demonstrating both durability and swing-and-miss stuff. Memorable performances included a 7-inning, 6-strikeout effort at Maine where he allowed just one earned run, and 3 scoreless innings with 3 strikeouts at Maryland against one of the Big Ten’s toughest lineups.

High School Career – Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK (Plainview, NY)

Before arriving at UAlbany, Coach Dylan was one of Long Island’s most decorated players. At Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK High School, he starred as a two-sport athlete in baseball and basketball, earning a long list of accolades in his senior year:

Diamond Award Recipient – given to top player in Nassau County.
Named a Newsday Top High School Baseball Player in Nassau County.
Conference Player of the Year and All-County Selection.

These honors cemented his reputation as one of the region’s premier talents and set the stage for his Division I career.
