We have to this day such a great relationship with him, his wife and children. They showed up to all the games and cheered our boys on like family. Joey's passion for the game along with his patience and commitment has not only helped my son grow as a player but also instilled important values like teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship. Being on a travel team is a big commitment for the families but Joey made it very enjoyable for everyone. He created an atmosphere where the team really felt like a family and that's so important since we spent our summer days and nights on the field. "We first met Joey Tracy when he coached my son as a twelve year old. It was immediately evident that Joey has enormous knowledge of baseball both offensively and defensively and a passion for the game that is unsurpassed. When my son joined the program, he played a variety of sports and was a relatively good player who enjoyed the game. After working with Joey he improved dramatically and quickly in all aspects of the game. Joey instilled a work ethic within my son and his teammates that has endured. My son is now a Division I pitcher in his third year of college- and is still employing the principles that Joey taught him. In fact, Joey is very much a part of our lives and even comes to see my son's college games with Deanna and Riley- and does the same with many of his former players. One of the things we admire most about Joey is his ability to forge lasting relationships. A great example for this is his personal network of college coaches- many of which he first met as a young player and during his time playing Division I baseball at Albany. I have seen firsthand the impact of Joey's connections and how well respected he is by there coaches."
